APB- All Points Bulletin

Postby SayUNKLE » Tue Jun 29, 2010 1:49 am

So I decided to try my hand a an rpgmmo game. It was just released today so you wont be catching up. This game also allows new users to kill advanced players equal to someone that has played extensively. This is very nice. No having to dedicate hundreds of hours to be good.

Basically it seems to be a GTA theme in a WOW environment.

Here's the basic trailer:

Heres is a noobs guide-A MUST!

Couldn't embedd = :(

This games style makes it essential to belong to a group (in game. If interested , please post, I will start in an in UNK clan. Enough members and your billboards are posted throughout the game.

I havn't yet played it, just researching while downloading. A friend of mine bought the pre-release and loves it. I am not usually an MMO type player but if I can shoot some people then its okay in my book ;)

You do have to purchase extended gameplay time in certain areas but STEAM gives you 50 hours to determine if its for you. If interested please post...and watch the noob tutorial. It shows the basics of getting started and how to gain &90,000 in game cash fast, to buy guns, cars ,etc.... It also explains the feel of the game as far as clans and the such. WATCH.

After buying on STEAM, you create an account at: http://na.apb.com/en NOTE: This is actually where the installer is. NOT STEAM

BTW. All Points Bulletin is made with the beloved Unreal Engine.
Meaning, custom content can be created and SOLD in game (if you know the Unreal Editor)!!

These are great short vids to watch to get a real feel for the dynamics of the game. You won't know what your missing till' you watch these!

The best part is you can go in, run a couple quick missions and take a break. No need for only all nighters, unless thats what you want and have time for.

It literally is an open world of crime and justice. My first character is an Enforcer, aka a good guy. Not necessarily a cop because you are free to kill and mame opponents at will.
Arrest if you want but killing and then tagging the areas seems much more effective.
