i played online for about an hour today and i have to say modern warfare2 is so much better. the graphics, weapons, movement, and vehicles all seem clumbsy and unrefined in this game which is really dissapointing. :|

I will try the multiplayer this weekend.

My biggest gripe in SP was only being able to sprint in a straight line - Once you are used to being able to strafe left and right when sprinting, anything other than that is a bad feeling.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Server version R7 has been released and is now available.

Some of the major fixes include:
·PB GUIDs generated on player’s EA account instead of persona name
·Crash fixes

Gametype set to Conquest for the weekend.

they did the sprint-strafe thing poorly, I'll give you that, but you can turn/aim left-right while sprinting. So that's a little something...

There are a few issues that this game seems to be having. They almost look like cheats, so you guys(especially Sayunkle) who run the server might want to know so you dont kick someone for the problem.

They involve basically mis-hits. Most noticeable is when it happens with a knife. You can knife a guy 3 times in the back and sometimes it just doesn't hurt him. You will even see blood from the guy, but nothing actually happens. Its harder to tell but it also seems to be happening with some bullets. Its not even noticeable on automatic weapons because you just assume that a few of the bullets missed due to the recoil/spray while a few do hit and do damage, but you can tell with a sniper. Again you will see blood from where you hit your target, but no actual damage is done.

This is happening all over the place, so you might be the guy who wont die, or the guy that cant kill somebody. But either way, or even if a player is reporting it, it is the game, and not a hack.

thanks for the heads up yak. And really enjoying the squad aspect of this game. Played the other night with some guy for about 4 rush maps. I Was assult and he was a medic. We worked really well with each other laying down fire and completing the objectives. You were right with the points With resupplying him and helping him, the point totals doubled. I think that was as much fun I have had in a team game in a while. I can only imagine how it with work with 4 of us all working together. Especially if we were all on voice.

yeah, and it works extremely well if you have one person as each class. Leaves you ready for any situation. Good teamwork and you really can be as good as the Russian squad shown in the trailer that SayUnkle posted. As for voice, i suppose i will have to dig out the old mike and download whatever chat program you guys are using this year.
